♠ CHAPTER 1 · 0:00 · DECLARING CANDIDACY FOR GE16

My dear fellow Malaysians, today I wish to address the many calls I have received from my channel supporters and viewers. Whether I will step into politics and run in the upcoming general election. My answer is yes. But what path will I take? Stay with me until the end. Thank you for all your support and encouragement. Let me explain the reason compelling me to enter the political arena. Our nation needs saving. I have assessed the current leadership landscape in Malaysian politics. And honestly, I've yet to find leaders who gave me the confidence that they can

deliver the sweeping overhaul Malaysia desperately requires. I'm convinced I possess the capability to lead the national transformation. I need a platform to win a seat as a member of parliament. From there, I will serve not only my constituency, but also build a movement and a political coalition that can eventually form a government embodying Abraham Lincoln's famous ideal. A government of the people, by the people, for the people. Step by step, we will do this. This is no fantasy. I'm being pragmatic. I'm a businessman and I approach the mission with steering

♠ CHAPTER 2 · 1:27 · GOVERNING THE ULTIMATE ENTERPRISE

the ultimate enterprise. The government. Where our citizens are the shareholders. This concept is straightforward, yet many of our politicians fail to grasp it. Too often, politics is pursued for its own sake, rather than to serve the rakyat. And six decades of this pattern, many Malaysians have come to believe this is the only way politics can function. It is not. Malaysia requires comprehensive overhaul across every sphere. We must dismantle race-based and religion-driven frameworks within politics. We must overhaul education, public administration, and economics.

This is an enormous undertaking. It demands leadership with deep, wide-ranging understanding of issues of both micro and macro levels. I believe I have the experience in business, which is well suited to be the spearhead to overhaul the nation. At this stage of my life, I view this as a calling I cannot ignore. Malaysia is a first-past-post parliamentary system. To start, we need to get into Parliament first. Hence, it all hinges on winning a seat in GE16. The ideal seat for me would require securing progressive Malay votes. The support will also must come from non-Malay constituents.

♠ CHAPTER 3 · 3:14 · BUILDING A REFORM COALITION

I will serve as your voice in Parliament and nurture the growing reform movement. I'm confident several other like-minded candidates will contest alongside me in GE16. This forms our strategic roadmap. We aim to build sufficient momentum to lead the formation of a new government. Voters are looking for a credible leadership offering an alternative vision. One that rejects politics built on government dependency, racial division, religious rhetoric, and empty vote buying. This is an achievable path. Please support the mission, persuade your family, friends, and peers to support me.

This is a cause to rescue our beloved country for all Malaysians. Do not be concerned with the state tactics of the politicians of a green wave. That is their desperate attempt to save themselves after their own failures. The government has not undertaken any of their promises of reforms. And they have become much worse than the previous governments whilst continuing the same destructive policies. We must be determined and we must believe that we can make the change and save our beloved nation. Some have warned me that I will change once I enter office as others before me have

♠ CHAPTER 4 · 4:51 · A BUSINESSMAN DRAINING THE SWAMP

falling prey to greed and hypocrisy. I know I will disappoint this this doubters. That will not happen. At 62 years of age, I'm too old to be sacrificing my principle. It's now or never. I never built my business on corrupt practices at any time whatsoever. I have a track record and it speaks for itself. My sole objective is to clean up the deeply broken system of Malaysian politics and governance. At 62 years of age, I cannot become a career politician. I'm a businessman hoping to enter politics to drain that swamp. I admit I speak plainly and unreserved calling things exactly as they are.

I believe it is far better to hear the hard truth and come then comforting lies. We do not have the time for empty pleasantries. Many Malaysians feel helpless and disillusioned. And I believe voters crave authenticity and sincerity. This is who I am. A chemical engineer trained in American deep south and in the oil fields of Miri, Sarawak. I'm an entrepreneur who overcame difficulties and hardship. And a veteran in the oil and gas and offshore marine industries. Some Malay critics have labeled me a traitor to my race for criticizing flaws within Malay communities.

♠ CHAPTER 5 · 6:42 · OVERCOMING THE DEPENDENCY MENTALITY

This could not be further from the truth. I love all Malaysians. Neither Malays nor non-Malays are inherently superior. Malaysians are what make our nation special. Possessing special privileges does not make a group exceptional. It creates dependency. Analogous to what we in Malay call as orang kurang upaya, OKU. This is not empowerment. It is a limitation. We all have two arms, two legs, sight, hearing, and a capable mind. How long must a community rely on special treatment? 60 years? 100? 1,000? Are we still incapable of standing independently after half a century? In the 1950s,

my grandfather built a rice mill and a small enterprise in Penang from nothing throughout. He continued working even after suffering a stroke that left one of his arms paralyzed. He received no special privileges to launch his business. I too built my enterprises without government grants, handouts, or political patronage. I remain forever grateful to Mr. Tan from RHB Bangsar Shopping Complex, who trusted me and supported my business with trade facilities. To my friend Bernard New, who placed faith in me during his tenure at Sun at Sony Broadcast, and my two closest friends from Miri, Sarawak,

my brothers-in-arms, who invited me to help grow then Petra Perdana into a billion ringgit corporate group. I want to show my fellow Malays that we are capable of far more than what the Malay leaders have led us to believe. I will demonstrate an alternate path rooted in hard work, self-reliance, proper education, freeing people from the shackles of manufactured dependency built on decades of misleading narratives. I'm convinced a large segment of the Malay community will shift towards this progressive outlook. At 62, I have no ambition for personal recognition, accolades, power, or riches.

♠ CHAPTER 6 · 9:23 · BREAKING ETHNIC VOTING AND SAVING MALAYSIA

I wish to dedicate myself to the mission for Malaysia. I intend to draw on my full life and business experience to overhaul our nation and its political system. I'm prepared to devote the rest of my life to this cause for all Malaysians. Our country is in decline. We face severe brain drain. Ordinary citizens struggle with stagnant wages and soaring living costs while politician only offer empty promises during election cycles. The people stagnate but they and their circle are somehow rich beyond measure. Malay politicians do this to their Malay constituents. Chinese politicians do the

same to their Chinese community. Ethnic voting persists because of this mind wayang politics fueled by slogans urging voters to vote for our own Malay candidate or vote for our own Chinese candidate. Our Indian community has long been exploited and neglected. And they deserve genuine representation. Am I wrong? The people of Sabah and Sarawak need friends with credibility and integrity who understand their unique challenges. We can unite all Malaysians as one people. We must break this racial voting mindset. Overhaul must begin with progressive Malaysians. Chinese, Indian, Dayak, Dusun

and progressive Malay voters. Look for and elect progressive Malay leaders if you truly want transformation. Let us all secure this foothold. Therefore, my first priority is winning a parliamentary seat so that I can build our mandate to govern with integrity much like growing market share in business. We can eventually transform the majority and government will be overhauled for the good of everyone. In commerce, we recognize a critical principle. Time is of the essence. We do not have time to waste. Neither does our nation. We have a country to save. So, here is my final answer.

Please support me. Join me to save our nation. Join me and my colleagues to transform Malaysia and leave our country to greater heights for every citizen. I do not make this pledge lightly. Together, we will overhaul the nation. God bless you and may God bless our beloved Malaysia. Thank you so very much.
