♠ CHAPTER 1 · 0:00 · WHY GUT SHOT BROADCASTS IN ENGLISH

Thank you for joining me at the GuyShot podcast. Today, I'm going to do a segment called The World According to Sam. Uh in this segment, I basically I'm going to give you what are my thoughts, my rants, and actually also answer some of the questions that you may have in the commentary section of the GuyShot podcast. Now, a lot of people has been asking me why GuyShot is mostly in English. Why not reach the Malays and talk in Malay? So, here's the answer. Listen, yeah? The episodes I do in Malay is for Malay self-reflection. It's not for issues. There is an important difference. One is a public

service for a single community. Another is a catalyst for change overall by discussing issues. For issues, GuyShot does not talk to the converted. We talk to thinkers. It's too complex for people who has no self-reflection. Okay? Now, the German philosopher Karl Marx, I paraphrase, had said this, "Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature. It is the opium of the people." Think carefully when I say this. I believe you can only talk to thinkers. Have you ever tried to talk to someone who is drunk out of their mind? Or are high on opium? It does not work.

♠ CHAPTER 2 · 1:08 · THE OPIUM OF THE MASSES AND POLITICAL ADDICTION

Until they have gone through rehab and withdrawal, nothing goes through their heads. They will insist that they are not drunk or they are not an addict. To rehab, you need them out from the reach of the opium peddlers and the dealers. This, ladies and gentlemen, will not happen now. Now, why do do why do we do the futile thing, ladies and gentlemen, and waste our time to talk to people high on opium? When even thinkers have problem discerning why and what? And that is my job for thinkers. I'll give you the recent example where Syed and I talk of tahfiz and UEC being

♠ CHAPTER 3 · 2:19 · THE FALSE EQUIVALENCE OF TAHFIZ AND UEC

interlocked by politicians. Not a single politician or political commentator or anyone on social media, be it Malay, non-Malay, even in English medium, pointed this out except me and Syed. And this issue should never be interlinked. And one is about pushing down a minority race, frankly for nothing more than racism. Whilst the other was to equate the much lower standard of tahfiz education to the A-level of UEC certification to make it easy for the less qualified majority. Ladies and gentlemen, that is utterly evil. That is what our politician, including the heroes of our thinking population,

are being hoodwinked with. They lie to you. Even the thinkers do not see it. What more tell this as a truth. It shows that your beloved politician, speaking in Malay, Chinese, or English, does not tell you the truth. They don't have the balls to tell you the truth even even if they they understand it. So, that is what we do at Gad Short. When we do it in English, we do it for the thinkers of all Malaysian, of all race, creed, and background. That is how we want to influence our fellow thinkers. Remember, telling people high on opium is useless. I must make people who are

♠ CHAPTER 4 · 4:12 · TARGETING MALAYSIA'S 50 PERCENT THINKING VOTERS

sober to be able to think and go, "Oh, yeah, I never thought of that." And these thinkers that we made to realize this are those that will save our country. We have approximately 50% thinking persons in our population in Malaysia. Leave the other the 50% alone. When I talk in Malay, we'll have them self-reflect. Even when they are destitute, they still vote for those who fool them and then leave in the most miserable states in the country. How many decades have they voted past and past in Kelantan and Terengganu? Do you see what I mean? But we have thinking people who can

understand issues when we explain. We present those conversations on Gad Shot in English to show you what none of your politician that you keep voting for are willing to talk about or even think. Or maybe they don't really care what matters to you. Because most of the time, truly they don't care. They are fine. You are not. They think you have no choice but to come groveling to them and only them and vote for them every time. Okay? However, we have the constituencies in the nation that we can get proper leaders and representatives into parliament to save the nation and

♠ CHAPTER 5 · 5:44 · CONSTITUENCIES THAT CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

represent you, your concerns and your needs. These constituencies have almost if not more than 50% of voters who think that can make the difference. They are minority Malays who are thinkers. They're not on opium. So, let's not you know, denigrate them that they do not understand English when we speak. There are many non-Malays that are not high on opium as well. So, what I'm showing Malaysians who think that these issues are real and you should elect real people with real character who really care, then vote for these persons. Lastly, I want to say this.

♠ CHAPTER 6 · 6:43 · ELECTING PRINCIPLED LEADERS OVER PARTY WARLORDS

Worry about who will form the government later. Get the right people in first, people who are beholden to what you as voters want, not beholden to party politics, not beholden to their warlords, not beholden to getting positions, not beholden to actually scrambling for power. Remember, the lesson we should get from today's politics is simple. What party leaders and their warlord wants is for them and their cronies, always, not for us citizens. They fight for their seats. They don't fight for the people. We should is start electing persons who make Malaysians of all races

and the nation grow and succeed first as their objective. That can only be done by communicating to thinking voters in constituencies that can make that can make the difference. Don't worry about drunk constituencies. Rome was built by thinkers, not drunkards. Thinkers understand English in good amount, ladies and gentlemen. That is our audience. That is you. We will build from there. We have a country to save. Thank you.
